The PD also represents children charged with delinquent acts and parents whom are charged with neglecting or abusing their children. The PD does not handle any other legal matters. You should not wait until just before your court hearing to contact the PD.
Southeastern Ohio Legal Services (332 W. High Ave., New Philadelphia, 330-339-3998) represents some low-income individuals on civil matters, such as victims of domestic violence, evictions, welfare benefits, and creditor problems.
SEOLS has limited capacity, so you should not wait until the last minute to call and set up an appointment.
